1.A company produces boxes of DVDs at a rate of 52 boxes per hour they begin to produce boxes when they first opened for the day and after 3 hours have 400 four boxes in stock. How many boxes were in stock when they opened? Write a linear model for the amount of boxes, b, as a function of the numbers of hours since they opened, h, and use your model to predict the number boxes in stock at the end of an 8 hour shift.

2. A painter needs a custom color for a large mural he is painting. To make the custom color he must had four units of blue and 3 units and magenta to each quart of paint. The painter knows that a gallon of paint will cover 350 square feet. He also knows that 4 quarts equals 1 gallon. How many units of magenta will you need for his mural which is 1200 square feet? round your answer to the nearest integer.
3. Write an equation in point slope form for a line wiht a slope perpendicular to y=5x-3 and passing through the point 2,-9

Hi huvij. You didn't say what you've learned about lines, so I'll post a worked example. If you need more help, please show us what you've tried so far. After he explains how to write the perpendicular line's slope, you can skip ahead to [03:05] to see him write point-slope form (which is what you've been asked to do). In other words, stop at [03:47].
