Things to consider: what if a and b are on opposite sides of zero? What if they're both on the same side of zero? If ONE of the two numbers (a or b) is zero, how big (or small, if negative) can the OTHER be? Also, check out the forum guidelines (here's a link to the summary page). Thank you. :cool:
