Find the average rate of change in the equation between t=4 and t=6:

S(t)=0.03(t)^3+0.5(t)^2+2(t)+3
 
Find the average rate of change in the equation between t=4 and t=6:

S(t)=0.03(t)^3+0.5(t)^2+2(t)+3

S(4) = ?

S(6) = ?

average rate of change = \(\displaystyle \displaystyle{\frac{S(6) \ - \ S(4)}{6 \ - \ 4}}\)
