• How do I do this please include details
  
  For the denominator why is it (4x +1)(x+1)? Doesnt it have to be able to go into 5 using additio nor substraction?

1+4 = 5 Why do you need more than that?

The numerator is a "Difference of Squares". You should be able to factor that.

Look for common factors in numerator and denominator and see what you can simplify.
