requesting help regarding how to solve 5=3x^2+2x+5

Solve 5 = 3x^2 + 2x + 5

subtract 5 from both sides ...

0 = 3x² + 2x

factor ...

0 = x(3x + 2)

set each factor equal to 0 and solve for x.
