Hey guys, Wondering how this would be solvable.(Not sure if this is in the right forum)

Say you have a random number generator and it generates 6 digits everytime from 000000 - 999999

There is a 1/20 chance that the last 2 numbers will be the same number. ie. 123455

My question is:

Can you calculate within a specific amount of generations, which generations will have the last 2 numbers.

eg: If I generate 100 different numbers, which of those 100 different numbers will have the same last 2 numbers.

Thanks!

I am wondering if you can please explain why you think there is 1/20 chance of getting the last two digits to be the same?

In addition to showing us your work so we know what type of help you need can you explain the problem a little better?
