ROCKET ATTACKS LONG BINH VIETNAM

I haven't a clue how to approach trying to figure out this probability/statistical problem. I was in Vietnam at Long Binh in 68/69and one Rocket almost got me. I think I've been watching that show Numbers one too many times. Question: Where will 78 Viet Cong 122mm Rockets randomly fired at a base camp that is an 18 Square Miles Area land. Even a ball park idea would be interesting. Thank You!

"randomly fired at a base" doesn't mean enough.

Random time?
Random direction?
What's the effectiveness of the targeting systems?
Are there NO defenses?
Are they even in range?
