I just started back at school in an MBA program and I'm doing some calculus reviews but I need some help.

For x=1/2 the second derivative of f(x)=2x^-2.

I had 2(1/2)^-2 =8

x=1/2, f=8

8 is the second derivative but I'm not sure my process is right. This may seem really easy to some of you and I apologize. I'm just getting back into this after 15 years of no schooling.

Thanks for any help.

So I got 12/x^4 which is 192 for x=1/2. I think that's correct.

polynomial → 2x^(-2)

first derivative → 2 * (-2) * x^(-3)

second derivative → 2 * (-2) * (-3) * x^(-4)
