What are the unknowns (variables) of this problem?

Now from the given information in the problem, set up the equation.

You really need to think a little. It really won't hurt much.

Since the computer cost double the price of the monitor, the price for the computer cost the same as the price for two monitors.

So the cost of a computer + cost of a monitor = cost of two monitors + cost of a monitor = cost of 3 monitors = $828

If 3 monitors cost $828 then what is the cost of one monitor? How about one computer?

Suppose that [imath]C~\&~M[/imath] are the cost of the computer & monitor respectively.
Then what is [imath]C+M=~?[/imath]

[imath][/imath][imath][/imath][imath][/imath][imath][/imath]
