I understand A ∩ C to mean elements of set A and C intersected. This means the set I seek must include the SAME ELEMENTS found in both sets. Yes?
Let U = universal set
U = {0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9}
A = {1, 3, 4, 5, 9}
B = {2, 4, 6, 7, 8}
C = {1, 3, 4, 6}
Find the set given A ∩ C.
A ∩ C = {1, 3, 4}
Correct?
