Hi everyone, I don't understand this question, lol. If anyone here could shed some light, I'd be very thankful. What kind of problem are these, and what's the proper method of solving them?
Well, there's 2 questions I don't understand. I'm studying Math for my GED test.
1.) An 18m path is being built using a nail every 25cm. What's the ratio of the number of nails to the number of metres of path?
2.) A map scale shows that 1/3 cm on the map = an actual distance of 3 km. If a distance on the map is 3/4 cm, what is the actual distance in kilometres?
Yes.... I'm fairly bad at Math lol!
Thank you.
