Simplifing fractions with exponets

k+2 -3
____ + ___
k-7 k-7

how do you simplify this?

Thank you! :p

I don't see any exponents here

\(\displaystyle \L \frac{k \,+\, 2}{k \,-\, 7} \,\,+\,\, \frac{-3}{k-7} \,\,=\,\, \frac{k \,-\, 1}{k\,-\,7}\) (because of the common denominator (k-7)

____ + ___
k-7 k-7
how do you simplify this?
Same way you would simplify:
Code:
 2 -3
--- + ----
 7 7
