I know how to do most simplifying but I am just stuck on this operation type:

3.2 to 6

I don't even get what I need to convert or if anything needs converting... etc,

I just need to know how this operation goes from beginning to end, one time.

Thanks thanks thanks thanks!!!

Hello, warden!

Simplify: .\(\displaystyle 3.2\text{ to }6\)

They usually expect both numbers to be positive integers, reduced to lowest terms.
. . (Think of a fraction.)

. . \(\displaystyle \begin{array}{ccccc} \text{We have:}& 3.2 : 6 \\ \\ \text{Eliminate decimal point:}\\ \text{multiply by 10} & 32 : 60 \\ \\ \text{Eliminate common factors:} \\ \text{divide by 4} & 8 : 15 \end{array}\)

Thank you so so so much! Now I can do the other 4 that are like it! This is that, make the whole numbers by mult 10, 100, 1000 etc right in the decimal place?

2.4 will equal 24 , (denom being 10 and say, 5.006, denom will be 1000 right?

NO.
Both must be multiplied by SAME; in your example, by 1000:
2.4 : 5.006
2400 : 5006

No no... I was explaining it different than what it appears but I really do get it. And again thanks tons and tons!

Well, better start explaining AS IT APPEARS, else you'll lose marks...
