What are the in-between steps to solve this: -.5P / (2-.5P) simplified to -P / (4-P) I keep staring at this and just don't see how they did it. Thanks.

Multiply the numerator and the denominator by 2.

You have to be tough! What do you do to .5, 2 and ,5 to get 1, 4 and 1? As mentioned, you multiply by 2.
