The worksheet says

3x + y = 6
3X + y = 3

Is this a typo? How could this be possible? I have no idea how to solve it.
 
Because it is unsolvable. They represent two parallel lines in the xy-plane that never touch eachother.
 
Yes as Morson said they represent two parallel lines. Also if you add them up:

\(\displaystyle \L \;3x + y = 6\)
\(\displaystyle \L \;-3x - y = - 3\)

\(\displaystyle \;\;\;0\,=\,3\)

That is not a true statement. So the lines are inconsistent w/no solution.
