Hi. Could you help me with this?

"Sketch a graph of the equation y = the square root of x. Then sketch a graph of the equation y= negative sign, the square root of x + 2 with -3 outside the square root.

I made a table of values for y = the square root of x.

(1,1), (0,0), (2,4), (3,9). I plotted these points on the graph and it lies on the x-axis.

I made a table of values for y = negative sign then the square root of x + 2 with -3 outside the square root.

This table came out to give me the points (1, -1), (5,-2), (2,-1.)

I plotted these points and then went 2 units to the left, reflected across x-axis and then down 3 units.

Is this right?

Was it necessary for me to create a table of values for the second equation?

"Tell what shifts and reflections can be done and in what order, to obtain the second graph from the first."

I went left by 2 units
I reflected across the x-axis
I went down 3 units.
