Hey guys, currently taking Differential Equations II, and have an assignment due in a few days.

I am struggling with one of the questions, I just cant seem to start it, or even grasp on how to attempt it.

Question is:

The solution to the IVP is given by dy/dx=(x+y+2)2, where y(0)=-2 crosses the x-axis at a point in the interval [0,1.4]. By experimenting with the trapezoidal method, determine this point to two decimal places.

I am struggling with how to even start this. I am not given a step size or anything.
Any suggestions/help please?
