Find another angle in the figure whose measure is 4x. Then see if you can find that angle from other angles.

Alternatively, just start labeling angles with their measures (as numbers or expressions) until you find two ways to identify the same angle, and can write that as an equation.

In other words, just start doing something! That's how you discover things.

Can you use alternate interior angles to find the [imath]m(\angle ECG)~?[/imath]
Can you use the exterior angle theorem to find [imath]m(\angle BEC)~?[/imath]

Now,
start with Vertically Opposite Angles (see post #5)
then Supplementary Angles (∠FGE?)
then Alternate Angles (∠GEC?)
then Supplementary Angles again (4x?)

I trust you can divide by 4 with no further help. ?
