Hello everyone, I'm trying to solve a problem on volume using shell method but I can't get the right answer. The answer on the book is 16/5 pia^3 but what I'm getting is 16pia^3.
Here is the problem:
1. Find the volume generated by revolving about the line x=2a the area bounded by that line, the x-axis, and the curve a^2y=x^3.

I included my solution here, can anyone tell me where I went wrong?

R(x) should be equal to 2a-x. Thank you.
That's the spirit!

Oh, and be grateful that you weren't asked to use disks. Quite a bit messier. Personally, I like to do it both ways, no matter what is asked - for the practice if nothing else. Also, I keep trying until I get the same result both ways. Confidence builder!

Good work.

Thank you again.
