I don't know what to do with this problem

It reads:

Solve for y:(log(x)/log(5))(log(5x)/log(x))(log(y)/log(5x))=(4log(x)/log(x))

i canceled out some stuff so that the problem became

(log(y)/log(5)=(4log(x)/log(x))

after that i am stuck

Thanks,
Paul

You can multiply both sides by log(5), then you have log(y) by itself.

As far as the log(y), do you have any ideas on how to extract the y? Think about what a log is. Another way of crudely saying log(y) is "Ten to which power is equal to y". So could you raise the log(y) as a power? and get the y by itself?
