I can easily solve limits problems when able to use a calculator, but how do you solve using algebra?

Here is one problem Im stuck on

Lim(x approaches 0) ((2+x^2)-4)/x)

Any help on getting started would be greatly appreciated!

Your calculator wouldn't like what you typed either. Your ()s don't match. Ignoring the last one I get -2/0 and no limit. Better check the problem.
