I will guess that your expression is something similar to the following:

. . . . .\(\displaystyle \frac{6\,\frac{1}{10}\, -\, 3\,\frac{1}{15}}{2\,\frac{1}{5}\, +\, 1\,\frac{1}{2}}\)

...and that the instructions were something along the lines of "simplify the expression and express (in some form)".

What have you tried? How far did you get? Where are you stuck? You converted to improper fractions with a common denominator, simplified top and bottom, inverted to convert from division to multiplication, and... then what?

Please be complete. Thank you! :D

First simplify (assuming simplification was what was wanted)

\(\displaystyle 6\frac{1}{10} \, - \, 3\frac{1}{15}\)

...and...

\(\displaystyle 2\frac{1}{5} \, - \, 1\frac{1}{2}\)

then divide.

or save some time by multiplying each of the 4 terms by 30: that'll give you 4 integers
