Mr. Kind's hosue sits on a lot of land that is a perfect sqaure. His prperty measures 7,056 sqaure feet. please answer the following questions based on his property.
a) what is the length and width of Mr. kind's property in feet.
square root of 7,056 = 84 feet.
So the length and width is 84 feet.
b) If Mr. kind wanted to install a fence around the entire piece of property, how many yards of fencing would be needed.
84/3= 28 yards.
28*4=112 yards of fencing would be needed.
c) If fencing comes in lengths of 4 feet, how many sections would be needed for each side of the sqaure shaped piece of property.
84/4=21 sections?
