We want to study the environment. One of the assignments is to grow plants in different soils. So we choose to grow plants in soil found outside the class room, potting soil bought at the local nursery and in soil from the neighbour’s garden. No chemicals were used on the plants, only water. They were grown in the classroom next to a window. Each soil choice was used to grow 5 plants. At the end of the growing period, each plant was measured, producing the following data (in inches): (Critical Value =4).
