statistics z test

IF I am using the z test and this is my question how do I solve?

A shipment of 80 tomatoes comes in and 76 of them will be usable in the resteraunt.

I have a significance level of .05

I know this is a 5 step process but I cant figure it out.


ALSO.... Why do the null and alternative hypothesis have to be mutually exclusive?

Look up the steps. What is your critical value? How many tomatoes can you test? Small sample, I would expect. You have a claim, 4 are bad. What proportion is that? You may wish to include the Finite Population Correction Factor on this one. Testing more than the shipment just isn't possible.

On the last question, you have to make a decision. Ambiguity will not do.
