Hi all!
I'm studying Polynomials and learning the Ruffini's Rule. I'd need to apply it to the following problem:
"You have a Panel whose area is [math](30a^2+32a+8)cm^2[/math] .
The panel is composed by a Square whose side is [math](5a+2)cm.[/math] and, on the top of it, contains a Triangle.
You need to find a if the Panel height is 202 cm."

Can you give me some clue to get started?
Thanks a lot!

In mathematical expressions,
1) What's the area of the square with a side length of 5a+2?
2) What's the height of the triangle? What's the base of the triangle?
3) Knowing the base and the height of the triangle, what's the area of the triangle?
4) Combining the area of the triangle and the area of the square will give you the area of the entire Panel; which was given to you
[imath](30a^2+32a+8)cm^2[/imath]. Can you set up an equation that expresses this?
