Can someone explain to me how to find the greatest power of 10 in 9,200,000, 87,000, and 30,940,50?

Thanks!

When you say "in", do you mean find the greatest power of 10 that divides these numbers?

If I understand the question, I think you just need to count the zeros at the end.

But you need to quote the exact wording of the problem you are trying to answer.

9,200,000= 92 x 100000= 92 x 10^5.
87,000= 7=87 x 1000= 87 x 10^3
30,940,50 doesn't make sense. Did you mean 3,094,050 or 30,940,500?
