Suppose the cost of manufacturing x items is given by C = 2000x + 3500 and the demand equation is given by x = square root of 15000 - 1.5p

I need to find an expression for revenue, profit and marginal profit. Any clue?
Thanks.

Try working from the definitions. If you sell x items at price p, what is your revenue? If you have revenues R and costs C, what is your profit? And so forth.

Does this look correct for the expression:
R(x)= 15000 - 2x/1.5

P(x)=(15000 - 2x/1.5) - (2000x +3500)

I think these might be right, but I can't figure out the marginal profit expression. Thanks.
