Spoilers ahead:

In The Day The Earth Stood Still, Klaatu tells Helen Benson to say the three words "Klaatu barada nikto" to
the robot Gort if the situation arises. However, Helen says seven words to Gort. She actually says,
"Gort! Klaatu barada nikto. Klaatu barada nikto."

I can imagine the following dialogue taking place aboard the spacecraft after Klaatu is revived from death:

Klaatu: "Helen, what exactly did you say to Gort?"

Helen Benson: "Gort! Klaatu barada nikto. Klaatu barada nikto."

Klaatu: "Oh, no! For one thing, I never stated to say Gort's name. More importantly, I never stated to say
the phrase more than once in a row to Gort. Saying it a second time in a row acts as sort of a toggle switch.
It will lead to Gort turning the Earth into a burned-out cinder. I have no power over him at this point."

Helen Benson: "I'm just sick and tired of trying anymore. It seems I just get punished for trying to do
the right thing!"
