Not knowing what time zone you're in, I don't know when you need an answer; but I hope you recognize that, since this is (a) graded, and (b) an open-ended "discussion" you are to be part of, and also (c) we don't know what topic was covered in section 5.3, we can't just give you an answer. You need to do your own thinking.
The first thing to tell us is, are you having trouble understanding what in the world it means? I had a little struggle myself! Tell us what you think it is saying, and we can help you think through it.
Then start by doing what it says to "first think" about, and tell us your thoughts.
