Let ∆ABC be an isosceles triangle with AB = AC. Suppose that the angle bisector of ∠B meets AC at D and that BC = BD+AD. Determine ∠A.
This is how I thought of starting off . I don’t know if this method is right . I want help on solving this problem using angle bisect of triangle property

Please finish labeling your diagram. Triangle ABC is isosceles so what do you know about two angles of the triangle. The angle bisector of B did what to angle B (label this!)

Please update your diagram, see what you can do to get closer to finding angle A and post back with your work.
