My son has just come across this question in an online assessment. Can someone please help him in answering questions 5i and 5ii. He believes the answer is the same for both. I apologise if the picture is not vertical..Im new to this stuff

Cannot read the assignment due to fringe pattern. Also make sure that the image is NOT ROTATED.

Please let your son communicate with us - so that we can know where he is (mathematically) and help him properly.

Ask him to post his attempts at solving these problems.

I tried saving the image, rotating it, and blowing it up. It's entirely too pixelated. Please have the student himself reply with the actual text (typed out), along with his thoughts and efforts so far. Thank you!
