DIAGRAM NOT TO SCALE (at all)
I recently had this question in a math test and hardly anyone could get it but we are yet to get an explanation so I'd love to know how to figure it out. I am not certain that the angles are in the correct location. I don’t quite remember where they were which I understand might make it hard to answer the question, so apologies. The diagram may look like it has parallel lines - THERE ARE NONE (unless you prove otherwise, but the diagram we were given did not show any parallel lines so sorry if the diagram I drew looks like there is).
I have found that the hypotenuse of the right angle triangle is sqrt 24, but I have no idea what to do with that,
If it's any help, the test is based around applying Sine Rule and Cosine Rule.
