I'm given the equation: y= 35/3 + 7/3[sin((72(x-80)/73))
...
This gives me a minimum of 9 1/3 (when x, or the day, is 353.74998)
and a max. of 14.0 (when x is 17.125)
[x = 1 is on Jan 1st and x = 365 is on Dec. 31st)

(this problem pertains to the hours of sunlight on a given day)

I need help CONVERTING THE GIVEN EQUATION SO THAT THE SINE FUNCTION IS IN RADIANS INSTEAD OF DEGREES. thanks.

To convert an angle c in degrees to radians, multiply through by pi/180:

So c degrees becomes cpi/180 radians.

Substitute c for 72/73*(x - 80)
