How would i go about simplifying this trig equation:

Is it:

\(\displaystyle \frac{cos(x)}{\frac{cos(x)}{sin(x)}}\)

or

\(\displaystyle \frac{\frac{cos(x)}{cos(x)}}{sin(x)}\)

I thought you understood it!!!

its the first. sorry about the discrepency. I thought I understood it too until I actualy tried to finish it!

Can you do fraction division? Like

\(\displaystyle \frac{\left(\frac{2}{1}\right) }{\left(\frac{2}{3}\right) }\)
 
okay, thankyou so much. That was proboly one of the worst memory/ problem solving skill lapses I have ever had!
