Looking at an example in my textbook and it is talking about computer programs as quadratic equations.
It emphasises that this code must contain an error if we consider the coefficient, x^2:
y = 4.862x^2 − 7.211x + 4.836
The trouble is, it doesn’t really explain why, and I’m very puzzled as to the reason there must be an obvious error in the equation.
Could someone explain why this might be?
Thank you in advance!
