R ryana New member Joined Jan 14, 2008 Messages 15 Feb 28, 2008 #1 I've been running into problems that are expecting me to turn roots into decimals... example: x^2 -5x + 5 = 0 The quadratic formula gives me 5/2 +- squareroot(5)/2 The answer expected to be 3.62 and 1.38 and I have no clue how to get there.
