I am in Geometry right now. And I had a 80-question homework assignment and I did all of them except these darn two-column proofs. They are the first 6 questions. I have pictures, could someone tell me the answers to those and/or tell me if what I wrote is right or wrong? THANK YOU <3

Again, thank you so much for all of your help!

Well, I don't see any work on numbers 1, 2, 4, and 6. Do you know why you're stuck?

Yes -- your first line in number 3 is correct (that information is "Given"). Why could you not do the same for the first line in number 1?

Also, on the line in number 5 where it's written that two angles sum to 180 degress, you are correct to write "Definition of Supplementary Angles".

As for the rest, we do not in general tell people answers. We can help you work out these 2-column proofs, but you need to first explain why you're stuck or ask specific questions.

Also, our posting guidelines request that you start a new thread for each exercise. I edited out five of your image links; I sent them back to you by PM (private message); please put them in separate threads, and be sure to explain what you're thinking about each exercise.

Cheers

Oh, okay... thank you though. I am sorry! I'm just stuck because I have no idea how to do it at all. Some things are easy, some are not. I am in 9th grade in Honors Geometry and the teachers gave us the "Proofs" chapter to teach to ourselves and it makes no sense! Many kids are struggling. I told my teacher I did not know how to do any of it and his response was, "No one does." I was just like okay then......... haha but thank you for your help!

Sounds to me like an exercise in self-discovery. Also sounds like you should not be too concerned; your teacher clearly is not.
