unit circle question

how can you find the coordinates of a point on the unit circle if all you know is the arc length - and the length is given in "units" not degrees or radians?
 
Hard to say. Could you post a specific example?

I would guess that the units are radians unless you have a reason to believe otherwise. It is a "unit circle" so the radius is a unit.
