This problem is driving me nuts.

record time in a 100 meter foor race is 9.10seconds, convert to miles per hours.

Please help. Online calulators don't show the step by step.

I'm sure you know that
60 seconds = 1 minute and
60 minutes = 1 hour
but what do you know about (meters or km) vs (ft, miles or inches). Where you start depends on what conversion factors you have to work with.

1000m=1km
5280ft =1 mile
3600 sec=i hour
i was using many different methods I think I am not setting it up right I know the answer just not how to get there. or maybe i am skipping a step

Here's another little shove/hint.

There are 1609.344 meters in a mile. So, the runner travels 100/1609.344=.062

miles in 9.1 seconds. As mentioned, there are 3600 seconds in an hour.

Now, can you convert to miles per hour?.
