Hello! I am preparing for a math olympiad which is after 8 hours. I really need help on one problem that I have been thinking for a few days now.
Problem:
In the trapezoid ABCD(AB||CD) AD ⊥AB, AD=AB and angle ABC=75. If point M is the midpoint of BC and AD+CD=m, find the distance from point D to AM.
Answer: m/2
I am thinking about proving that triangle AMD is equilateral but I have no idea how to prove it. I have no idea where to start from.
