Identify solutions to the following by using the Quadratic Formula.

First of all what is the quadratic Formula?

It is odd that your book is giving you homework on the Quadratic Formula, when (apparently) it never mentions what the Formula is, and it (apparently) hasn't been mentioned in class.

Fortunately, there are many places online which cover this topic at great length:

Study one or a few lessons, until you are comfortable with how the Formula works. Then please attempt the exercise.
