Find the magnitude of hip abductor force of a 120-lb woman if AB = 2 inches, BC = 4 inches, and angle
BAM = 70 degree.

What have you been taught about lever forces? This is a first order lever with the force at A having two components (one of them being the hip abductor force) whose resultant is the usual load (force) straight down at A.
