Question: Explain why the graph of f(x) = (logx)^logx decreases, then increases.

What sort of answer are you looking for? The function will not tell you its motivation for doing what it does ...

We could talk about how you can know that this happens; or, possibly, about what feature of the function has that effect.

Is this an actual problem from a test?

Are you allowed to use technology to graph the function? You need to give us better instructions so we know how to help you.
What theorems or rules are you allowed to use? Do you know calculus? Did you post this problem in the correct category of Intermediate Algebra?
