What is the resistance of a voltmeter on the 250\displaystyle 250-V\displaystyle \text{V} scale if the meter sensitivity is 50,000 Ω/V\displaystyle 50,000 \ \Omega/\text{V}?

Very simple!

R=scale× sensitivity=250×50000=1.25×107 Ω\displaystyle R = \text{scale} \times \ \text{sensitivity} = 250 \times 50000 = \textcolor{blue}{1.25 \times 10^7 \ \Omega}
