Volume of a wedge

Hi everyone !
I'm facing a real trouble with this exercice ! I really need help :!:

Two planes (x and y) cut a right circular cylinder to form a wedge.One plane is perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder and the second makes an angle of A degrees first(see figure below)

1- Find the volume of the wedge if A= 45°
2- Find the volume of the wedge for an arbitary angle A. Assuming that the cylinder has sufficient length , how does the volume of the wedge changes as A increases from 0° to 90°

The use of "x" and "y" for the planes and also for the axes is confusing, especially with such a fuzzy picture. Kindly please reply with clarification. Thank you! ;)
