Can someone please guide me thro' this question? Thanks

Since no one has jumped in, even though it is almost illegible to me...
It takes 2 hrs to row, 3*pi/4 to walk.

I didn't have the energy for this one:
I have a feeling the woman walks a distance, then swims,
in a way to minimize distance...

You ask how should she proceed? To minimize her time or what?
Walking gets her there in Pi/2 hours while rowing gets her there in 2 hours.
If you simply want the expression defining the total time taken by doing both,

T = 2cosµ + Piµ/45

The distance rowed from A to C is Dr = 4cosµ
The distance walked from C to B is Dw = (2µ/180)2Pi = Piµ/45.
