Hello All,

not sure where to start on this one- pretty simple but, ya know

anyway here we go.

fitness freak mate has challenged me to weight loss comp

He is 97 kg
I am 77 kg

saying 'we both just have to lose 7kgs"

I'm thinking that as an overall percentage I'm getting a raw deal

Can someone help me figure this out please?

Thanks in advance

Instead of a flat amount, it should be a percentage of your weight. Heavier people tend to lose weight, so you'll be at a disadvantage—maybe10 % of your respective weights. So you'll need to lose 7.7kg, and your friend needs to lose 9.7kg.
