Help please!
What is the area of a circle with the diameter of 3 cm?
If A (area) = pi x r squared, how do I make the leap to get the diameter?
Could someone kindly walk me through this?
Thank you VERY much. This is driving me crazy :)

I think I posted the question wrong.

I meant to ask:

What is the area of a circle with the diameter of 3 cm?
If A (area) = pi times r squared, how do I make the leap to get the AREA? [I mistakenly asked for the radius not the area before]

I see that d = 2r but don't know how to plug it all in to find my solution.

Thanks again

If diameter is twice radius, then radius is ____ diameter.

… I mistakenly asked for the radius not the area before No, you did not.
