Which one of these is NOT true for: \(\displaystyle \:f(x)\:=\:(x\,+\,2)(x\,-\,1)^2\)

a) the minimum is (1,0)
b) the intercept is (1,0)
c) the maximum is (-1,4)
d) the inflection is (1,0)
e) none of the above
 
Oh jeez, I pulled my calculator out and I was going to find you an answer and it won't tell me the mins/maxs
B is not the answer, because it touched the axis. Sorry i couldn't be more help

Do you know anything about derivatives?

Did you try any Calculus?


By the way, (1,0) is an x-intercept.
